Junior Office Administrator

Location: Poole Head Office

The Pukka Pad Group is a leading global manufacturer and supplier of high quality branded and own label paper pads and notebooks, filing and divider items, post and packaging and art and activity products.

This office based role would suit an enthusiastic candidate with excellent written and oral communication skills looking for their first office administration position with a dynamic and growing company.

Key duties & responsibilities:

  • General Office administration
  • Answering incoming calls and directing as necessary
  • Dealing with Customer queries
  • Liaising with other staff/departments
  • Office Filing
  • Incoming and outgoing post and communication
  • EDI invoicing

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Highly numerically accurate
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, and Excel
  • Planning & Organisation – ability to perform to clearly defined deadlines and milestones

Trainee Graphic Designer

Location: Poole Head Office

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a talented Trainee Graphic Designer to join the Poole based, in-house design team at Pukka Pads.

The ideal candidate will have recently qualified to GCSE/A level or equivalent standard and be enthusiastic with fresh innovative ideas to push the brand forward.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects including product design, marketing and exhibition design, should be MAC literate and proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.  An interest in photography, web design and new technologies would be an advantage but not essential.

Retail Account Manager

Location: Poole Head Office

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic account manager to join our team. To build strong partnerships with clients, shaping strategies to grow sales, profits, and increase market share.This role would suit an individual with excellent (verbal & written) communication and negotiation skills, with an ability to build and maintain business relationships.

Role Description:

  • Establish strong relationships with all retailers’ headquarters staff to help deliver a strong, professional relationship within the account.
  • 2-3 days a week visiting UK clients with at least one day a week in the Poole Head Office

Key duties & responsibilities:

  • Contact existing and new clients through telephone, email and visits.
  • Attend regular sales meetings, split across 3 sites, Poole Head Office, Yorkshire Factory and Lutterworth DC
  • Attend shows and exhibitions in the UK and Europe.
Develop and manage new and existing profitable business, measured against annualised sales and margin budgets.
Work closely with Sales Director to ensure a high level of customer service.


  • A proven record of success in a sales environment
  • Work as a team member is imperative
  • Presentation and negotiation skills essential.
Good time management & a Positive outlook with a problem solving and “can do “ attitude
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and internal systems and databases.
Display sound judgement and clear decision making
  • Ideally some experience in FMCG / stationery categories
